On April 1st, 2022 I heard the words - you have breast cancer.  It stopped me in my tracks.  I knew I was at risk with family members who have battled this disease, but I guess I never thought it would happen to me.  I can remember my team of doctors saying, the next year will be difficult but you will get through this.  The fear of all that a year of treatment ahead was more than I could have imagined.  But now, a year later, I am here.  I have one more targeted therapy treatment to go before I put this nightmare behind me.  I am so thankful for the team at LGH that was there every step of the way.  Please donate to help support patients.
