Team JoMama will once once again participate in Lowell General Hospital's TeamWalk for CancerCare. This year however with the COVID-19 pandemic and the current need for social distancing, the event will be themed as "TeamWalk on Your Terms…Your Turf…and Your Time". This will be our 14th year participating in this important event and also he 21st Anniversary of TeamWalk. Team JoMama was formed in 2007 while Joanne Campbell was a patient at Lowell General Hospital's Cancer Center. Jo walked with her family and friends the first two years. In 2008, Jo lost her battle to cancer however Team JoMama has continued on as a means to honor her life and memory while giving back to the community and those patients at LGH Cancer Center.
Since our first walk in 2007, Team JoMama has raised more than $190,000 for the patients and their families. None of this support to those in need would have been possible without the generosity of our donors. On behalf of the patients, THANK YOU!!. We hope that you may once again support our effort.
Thank you, Kevin
Each and every dollar raised stays within the communities that we serve, helping our friends, family members and co-corkers.
TeamWalk funds make a difference in the lives of today’s cancer patients by paying for medications, nutritional supplements, wigs and prostheses, support groups, skilled nursing visits, transportation, mini-grants, and supportive services to patients of all cancer types. Funds raised enable Lowell General Hospital to provide assistance, support, and services to help people feel better, build confidence and instill hope throughout their battle with cancer.
Inspire Hope, Ignite Courage, Join TeamWalk.
