We are looking for volunteers for this year’s TeamWalk for CancerCare on Sunday, May 19 at the Tsongas Center in Lowell. Join us as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of TeamWalk!

We will do our best to accommodate requests for family, friends, or department members to volunteer together. Please sign up online at the TeamWalk website. Register early as volunteer spots are limited.

Please sign up to volunteer by Wednesday, May 1 to guarantee your t-shirt and assignment. We are so grateful for your time!

The Lowell General Hospital Auxiliary is excited to present Daffodil Day on March 21st. 

Pre-order bunches and pots of daffodils online by March 15th to benefit TeamWalk for CancerCare and patient care programs in our cancer center. Bunches are $10 and potted plants are $12 and can be picked up on March 21 at ERA Key Realty in Chelmsford, Mount Pleasant Country Club in Lowell or United Teachers of Lowell Office. Lowell General Hospital Employees can pick up at Main or Saints Campus. 

Make a member of our team or patient in our care smile by selecting the $25 Spreading Kindness option that will assure flowers are sent on your behalf to a patient or caregiver at Lowell General Hospital. This is a great way to financially support the cancer center while also brightening the day of a hospital employee or patient. Your donation allows us to respond to the most immediate needs of those in our care and will undoubtedly make a difference in the life of an employee or patient.

Our Breast Cancer Support Group gathered on Sunday, February 11 to enjoy a delicious brunch to celebrate Galentine’s Day! 

Tina Stevens, Breast Cancer Support Group Facilitator, organized the event at Dragonfly Cafe in Lowell. This event was sponsored by TeamWalk for CancerCare. 

Our Breast Cancer Support Group meets once each month and provides members the opportunity to share their journey with others in a supportive environment.
